An old colleague of mine works in the European iPhone business unit and tells me Apple has a new cut of the iPhone OS beyond 3.1 which will remove the injection window that has been exploited until now.
A "compelling" set of new features will be included to make it irresistable and leave those with unauthorized iPhones in the "past"...
