Apple Adds New A&E, History, Lifetime Channels to Apple TV

Apple has updated the Apple TV with new A&E, History, and Lifetime channels.

The free, ad-supported TV Everywhere content offers all Apple TV customers in the US access to full episodes, movies and exclusive clips of their favorite A+E Networks HD programming including Bates Motel, Storage Wars, Project Runway, Devious Maids and Pawn Stars. A+E Networks subscribers (through participating television providers) will have access to additional content including previous seasons of their favorite series from A&E, History and Lifetime.

"We're excited to deliver our hit programming from A&E, HISTORY and Lifetime to Apple TV users," said Dan Suratt, Executive Vice President, Digital Media & Business Development, A+E Networks. "With the response we've seen from our content on iOS devices and on iTunes, bringing A+E HD content to Apple TV is a natural evolution to satisfy our consumers' demands and to provide our advertisers a new opportunity to partner with A+E Networks."

Apple has been adding a lot of new content to the Apple TV lately ahead of a rumored hardware update. Please follow iClarified on TwitterFacebookGoogle+, or RSS for updates.
