Steve Wozniak, Apple's co-founder has shared his disappointment in regards to the recent NSA privacy scandal. Spanish language tech site FayerWayer rain into Woz at the airport and asked him how he felt about the NSA.
All these things that talk about the Constitution that made us so good as people, they're kind of nothing. They all dissolved with the Patriot Act. There's not even a free open court anymore
Woz then compared America to Russia, stating "We're getting more and more like that."
In essence, Woz's entire view of America has shifted dramatically because of these recent revelations. In fact, Woz believed that Americans had clear rights, but that is no longer the case as he compared the government's behavior to a king.
"That's what a king does. A king just goes out, has anyone rounded up, killed, puts them in prison."
