Google Goggles is Coming to the iPhone Soon

Google has announced that it will be bringing its Google Goggles app to the iPhone soon, according to ReadWriteWeb.

In a presentation Thursday at the Augmented Reality Event in Santa Clara, California, Google project manager Shailesh Nalawadi was asked about the app during the Q&A. Nalawadi said, "Yes, we will be coming to the iPhone soon."

Google Goggles lets users take pictures of various objects and helps identify them. Items that Goggles can identify include buildings, bridges, landmarks, bar codes, logos, text, business cards and product info for things like books and DVDs.
